I walked into the grocery store not particularly interested in buying groceries.. I wasn't hungry. The pain of losing my husband of 57 years was still too raw.. And this grocery store held so many sweet memories. He often came with me and almost every time he'd pretend to go off and look for something special. I knew what he was up to. I'd always spot him walking down the aisle with the three yellow roses in his hands. He knew I loved yellow roses. With a heart filled with grief, I only wanted to buy my few items and leave, but even grocery shopping was different since he had passed on. Shopping for one took time, a little more thought than it had for two. Standing by the meat, I searched for the perfect small steak and remembered how he had loved his steak. HAPPY RESURRECTION SUNDAY

Faithful Men and Women of God, As we celebrate Resurrection Sunday, we realize no greater love than this, than to lay down one’s life for His friends. We are grateful that The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. The thief comes to steal, and to kill, and to destroy but Jesus came that we might have life, and that we might have it more abundantly. Therefore, when we pass through the waters, He is with us; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow us. When we walk through the fire, we shall not be burned; neither shall the flame scorch us. The King of Kings and the Lord of Lords has spoken unto us, saying, ALL power is given unto Him in heaven and in earth…Hallelujah! John 15:13; 2 Peter 3:9; John 10:10; Isaiah 43:2; Matthew 28:18 Happy Resurrection Sunday, Seeing God in Everything, Carolyn
