Prayer: The Kingdom Purpose & Power of Petitioning
•Prayer is the most misunderstood activity in the church!
•In order to understand prayer, we must have a Kingdom understanding.
•If you take the understanding of prayer outside of the Kingdom of God, all you have is religious activity.
1 Prayer is not a religious activity – Prayer is the most misunderstood Kingdom concept. Most people that pray don’t know how to pray – most of us are among those.
Prayer is the most important Kingdom activity on earth – that is a paradox – it’s the most misunderstood yet it is the most important.
Prayer is an ambassador’s #1 responsibility.
2 Statement made by John Wesley. He understood something about prayer that we must understand: “It seems that without God, man cannot – and without man, God will not.”
3 What did he mean by that?
It seems that on earth, man can do nothing without God – but there is another reality:
God will not do anything on earth without man.
The principle is:
There has to be a partnership between man and God in order for things to be happening on earth. So what happens on earth depends on you!
To understand prayer, here is a simple definition of prayer: Prayer is the earthly license for Heavenly interference.
4 What does that mean?
Prayer is not an option for a believer.
Prayer is a necessity.
Prayer is not a religious activity – prayer is a legal activity.

I am so sadden about the deaths of our children. I understand that these are suppose to be the last days and don't get me wrong I do know this world as we know it will pass away. But I have been hearing we in the last days since I was a child.
